WordPress allows you to assign keywords, or tags, to your posts. Tags enable you to apply more keywords to your post rather than bloating your list of Categories. But you should not use a heavy hand with tags, as this can become too cumbersome for your users to search through your tags. And especially if you are allowing Google and other search engines to index your tags.
WordPress 3.6 (aka Oscar) upgrade has been out a few days now, and after an initial hiccup after the upgrades I did, everything is running smoothly.
I had one instances of the upgrade which resulted in an 500 Internal Server Error screen. After an automatic, internal FREAK OUT reaction (Yes, I still get this mildly, but recover quickly!), I went over to see if there was an upgrade of the theme being used on that site, and there was one available. Then I went through the usual steps to diagnose the problem including going to the host site via FTP and disabling the plugins. Shortly everything was up and running and there were several upgrades available for the installed plugins.
